El Molcajete Sauces – Tortilla Making Class In this fun, hands-on cooking class, guests will learn the traditional art of making fresh corn tortillas from scratch using ancestral Mexican techniques. Guided by El Molcajete Sauces, participants will mix masa, and press tortillas.

El Molcajete Sauces – Tortilla Making Class (Step-by-Step Experience) 🌽🔥
Step 1 – Welcome & Introduction
Guests are welcomed with a brief introduction to the cultural importance of corn in Mexican and Oaxacan cuisine. We share the story behind traditional tortillas and how they are the foundation of many Mexican dishes.
Step 2 – Preparing the Masa
Participants learn how to mix masa harina with water and a pinch of salt to create the perfect soft dough. We explain the texture to look for and the traditional techniques used in Mexican homes.
Step 3 – Forming the Dough Balls
