Kids ages 8+will work with Chef Ernesto to dive into the tradition of making tortillas from scratch. By combining knife skills with tortilla-making, the class creates a well-rounded experience where kids build confidence, learn essential kitchen techniques, and have fun bringing their dishes to life.
Chef Ernesto combines his special education teaching experience with his culinary background to introduce knife techniques in a fun, safe, and hands-on way. Young chefs will learn how to properly hold kid-safe knives with a simple, comfortable grip. Ernesto focuses on building confidence while staying safe, starting out slowly and staying in control while practicing basic cuts. Kids of all ability levels are welcome to join this class.
